Wellington Building, One40william, Perth
A Heritage listed building previously being converted into a modern office spaces for new occuping tenant located on top of operating retail shops. Buckingham Redevelopment Co. completed base build and heritage restoration works.
With a tight schedule and challenging scope of works Buckingham Redevelopment Co. pushed ahead and delivered the project to the client’s requirements.
One of the many challenges being sourcing original materials and preserving as much of the original heritage materials as possible in order to obtain and keep the history of the building. Original door hardware such as door knobs, mail slots and finger plates were cast to match existing as well as the original wooden fireplaces restored for the future.
