Globe Building, One40william, Perth
This Heritage listed building was previously used as a hotel and has been converted into modern office spaces with retail shops located on the ground floor. Buckingham Redevelopment Co. carried out base building works ready for fitout works to take place.
Various heritage elements of this Building were preserved and brought back to the original heritage fabric of the building.
Original door push plates were preserved and replacement of original door hardware to match existing heritage finishings.
The original staircase and architraves striped back to their original state and reinstated.
Minor detail such as replacement and refurbishment of original fireplace spindles to represent their original state.
The challenges of matching and restoring various building materials and elements was completed within the client’s budget and strict timelines.
The base build works were completed and handed over for the tenant’s fitout contractors to commence works within days of completion.
